Andrés Acosta is a non-binary Latine creator, entertainer, and educator with over 300K followers based out of Los Angeles and native to New Orleans. As a first-generation immigrant and third-generation educator they love to explore the impact of language on pop culture and society. Andrés has used their platform to explore social issues and teach Spanish and Spanglish through comedy and current events. Raised by a Puerto Rican mother, Honduran father and living in New Orleans, Miami, Boston, New York, and Los Angeles has given Andrés a unique experience immersed in the multitudes of Latine communities across the country. As a hurricane Katrina survivor, Andrés is dedicated to educating their audience on the climate crisis and dedicated to creating equity for the global south and socioeconomically disadvantaged populations disproportionately effected by climate change. Andrés has worked on Amazon Prime Video’s digital production team and is currently working in diversity, equity, and inclusion at Instagram. They have previously been sponsored by Meta, TikTok, and GIPHY to create exclusive content focused on the Latine community.
